Hello there.
I was reading in Bastiat's Political Economy, and this phrase caught my eye.
" The State is the great fictitious entity by which everyone seeks to live at the expense of everyone else."
How true is that?
Look at our tax code. Look at our government. Look at the social security and medicare, foodstamp, college loan, grants, subsidies, and innumerable other programs through which everyone seeks to gain from anothers loss.
Unfortunately, there is a name for this. Can you guess it? It's called socialism.
The easiest way for a man to steal is not with a gun, but with a legislator.
Good night.
